Behind the Scenes TV * Under 21 Battle of the Bands

In 2007 Jeff started interviewing local bands. He was a huge fan of behind the scenes bonus features, learning the back story of how music was written and more about the artists who wrote them. So he put his back ground in radio to work and bought a laptop, mixer and microphones. The interviews, then called Boston Garage Bands, started visiting bands at their practice spaces for a sit down, no holding back conversation about their music and anything else that came up.

It was one of the only podcasts, at that time, focusing on local and unsigned musicians and it was a hit and the amount of musicians that wanted to be on the show started growing each week.

The audio interviews are ones that started it all. Originally called Boston Garage Bands. Not all the interviews are there and more will be added soon.

In 2010 Boston Garage Bands had evolved into NEGB1 and turned the audio interviews into a weekly web-tv show. Now the audiences could see the artists performing their music in a way many of them have never performed before, acoustically. Behind the Scenes with NEGB1 ran for 2 season from 2010-2012 and was taped at the Music Go Round Boston and sponsored by Celestial Effects.

An interview and live performance show that features musicians from around New England. Taping's are open to the public at The Music Go Round in Natick, MA 7-8pm. Come on down.
